- Time: 27-29 August 2012
- Place: Dpt of Astronomy, University of Vienna, Austria
- Attendance: required for SUMMER researchers, but opened to all interested researchers/students
The SUMMER consortium runs an annual summer-school open for PhD students, Post Doctoral fellows and young medical doctors, but also group leaders, interested in an interdisciplinary approach to computer supported radiotherapy planning. The first SUMMER summer-school will take place in Vienna from August 27th until August 29th 2012. Members of the SUMMER consortium and invited speakers will give lectures on medical image acquisition, radiation oncology physics, biological target volume, dose planning and painting, image processing, visualization and ergonomics.
