My name is Miro Jurišić and I come from a small place in Croatia called Ploče.

After finishing high school in my home town, I decided to study physics at Croatia capital city Zagreb. In Zagreb, I spent three years doing General Physics.
In 2008, I moved to Split, where I graduated, with major in Computational physics in 2011.

My research interest is General-purpose computing on graphics processing units, GPGPU , and I arrived in Vienna in February 2012 to continue working with Graphics Hardware and its application in Medical physics.
At the moment, I am employed by Medical University Vienna under this SUMMER project, as an Early Stage Researcher.
